Minister sacked for marrying SLPP woman

Disclosures are that the sacking of the Minister of Energy and Power, Prof. Ogunlade Davidson was due to leaks that he has pitched fence with a tough SLPP woman; underhandedly saying “I do” to her matrimonial reunion.

It is told that the sacked Minister surreptitiously had a wedding get-together with an opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) strong female follower – one time Minister of Health in the redundant regime, Madam Abathur Thomas.

Throughout the wedding, our source revealed, not a single executive, Minister or strong member of the governing APC was present.

The wedding was allegedly dominated by strong SLPP bigwigs, and a number of friends of the wedded wife.

A state house source has nevertheless told this press that the information regarding Prof. Ogunlade’s wedding of the SLPP bigwig reached ears of the APC days prior to his dismissal.

Revelations are that senior APC members have accused the sacked Minister for betraying the trust of the APC party; and said he is a suspect of an ‘information sell out.’

It could be recalled that the media, on a number of occasions, has accused the sacked Energy Minister of corruption, in particular, the awarding of contracts and other related issues to allies of his.

He was also accused of bending procurement rules thus single handedly giving a contract for the purchase of a generator for the Lungi community to a business organization, which up until now is unfulfilled.

As at going to press, efforts to get comments from the sacked Minister or his alleged wife, the Minister of Information, or his deputy, proved futile.

The president has kept Musa Tarawally as a minister. He even promoted the thug, even though a commission has told him to get rid of the idiot, and ban him from politics for a considerable period of time.

You cannot be serious to point fingers at Ogunlade for incompetency when the number of incompetent idiots we have in gov't including the president is uncountable.

According to reliable sources within the SLPP the eccentric professor is an SLPP plant in the APC whose cover was blown by the APC's informer within the SLPP.The old professor has been indulged in subversion with the sole motive of making Bumbuna inoperable so as to turn the nation against EBK. The married between Ogunlade and the SLPP lady was an SLPP idea which has resulted into their biggest disappointment. So instead of wrecking Bumbuna it is the SLPP plans that have been wrecked beyond implementation.
